Things are beginning to move, on yonder riverbank, towards coffee enjoyment on the Mexican War Streets. We’ve lined up Essig Renovation and Design to do the work, and have paper on the front glass. Now in the midst of negotiating a permit, we are navigating the contractors ideas with meeting the city’s policy for safe construction. Some of you are local to the Allegheny City area, and may seen this already. For those Commonplacer’s who have yet to see the space, here’s a slide show of the demo before we “hid it”, and a bonus shot of neighbors-and-barista-family Battista’s who will run the shop!
